Penn Farm, we have much to offer, fabulously fun hayrides, delicious fruits
and vegetables at our farm market, and exciting seasonal events. William
Penn farm is located on Frenchtown Road just one mile from the historical
town of New Castle in Delaware. Founded in the 1790's, it is the only
working farm within the town limits of New Castle!

Gardening Supplies!
We are now receiving our gardening supplies for the fall plantings!
It's not too late too work in the yard! Do you need fresh mulch,
a new perennial for that open spot in yard, or that special planting
for your fall/winter garden? We also have a nice
selection of garden decorations and crafts. If you need more ideas you can
always ask Elaine and Joe Quigley for suggestions!

William Penn High School Alumni Bake Sale and Treasure Sale
Thanks to all that made the Bake Sale and Treasure Sale another success this
year! All of the support from the community was once again outstanding!
The Scholarship Fund will again award a scholarship amount of $1000 to a
William Penn High School student. If you are interested in donating next year,
please mark on your calendar or visit the
Guest Book to have a reminder
emailed to you next year! We would appreciate your support. All of the
proceeds of the event are donated to the Scholarship Fund. The sale was
held at the Quigley's Produce Farm Market on Frenchtown Road
Quigley's Hayrides The Quigley
family has provided hayride's for over 20 consecutive years! When it comes
to a pleasurable, relaxing and safe hayride, Joe knows how it is done! The
environment is safe for children and seniors, and is conducted entirely
on private farm roads. Alcohol is strictly prohibited for safety of the
hayriders and for providing good examples to young hayriders! Naturally,
it is a smoke free environment on the entire farm. Come enjoy the fresh
and open spaces on a Quigley Hayride on William Penn Farm!
Farm Market
The Quigley's Produce Farm Market has been managed by the Quigley family
for four generations. Our customers enjoy farm fresh sweet corn for which
the Quigley's are famous for in the New Castle area. We offer many other
seasonal fruits, vegetables, and flowers throughout the year. Come have
a beautiful flower arrangement or specialty craft made by Elaine. Also,
ask Joe and Dave about gardening and farming advice. The Quigley family
invites you to visit and enjoy the country farm market!

by a University of Delaware researcher. William Penn Farm has a lot to share
from historical and current community interest viewpoints. Come visit the
